Work HistoryI have worked in various clinical settings including academic medical centers, outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric facilities, the Veterans Affairs Administration, and university clinics. With this rich background, I am hopeful I can help you whether through therapy or with a referral to services that would better fit your needs. For the last three years, I have worked as an assistant professor at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. During that time I provided psychotherapy to medical residents, hospital staff, and members of the community. I was entrusted to train other medical professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health counselors in how to conduct therapy. I taught multiple psychology courses at my alma mater, The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. I am proud of this background in teaching and training and believe it enriches my approach to therapy.
