Get To Know Me
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My personality is naturally rebellious, and I believe that many of the struggles we face stem from trying to conform to societal expectations—whether it's about appearance, success, or how we express ourselves. I encourage clients to explore and define their own values and identity, independent of external pressures. In doing so, we often discover a sense of freedom and happiness that comes from embracing our authentic selves. It's a rebellious act, but one that can lead to deep fulfillment and liberation.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
When working with me, you can expect a personable, down-to-earth approach. I use humor to create a comfortable space, and I don’t take myself too seriously, but I’m absolutely confident in my skills and knowledge. I share just enough of myself to help enrich our therapeutic relationship, while always keeping the focus on you and your journey.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I was inspired to become a therapist by my own journey of healing, which was shaped by childhood trauma and a long struggle with self-image and self-acceptance. Through this process, I came to understand that, while each person faces their own unique challenges, we all share the same basic needs for connection, understanding, and growth. This realization deepened my desire to help others navigate their own paths toward healing and self-discovery.
