Work HistoryAs a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), my work experience spans from November 2019 to the present, encompassing roles at various practices, including my own, Purpose Within Pain Counseling, PLLC. In these positions, I consistently provide individual and couples counseling using evidence-based modalities such as CBT, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centered approaches. My responsibilities involve empowering clients to identify thought patterns, build effective coping strategies, and set value-driven goals. I meticulously document sessions and treatment plans, perform crucial risk assessments, provide crisis intervention, and collaborate with families and external resources to ensure comprehensive client care, all while maintaining strict ethical practice and engaging in ongoing professional development. Prior to and at times concurrently with my LPC roles, I also served as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) and an LPHA Intern from June 2015 to February 2022. In these capacities, I was responsible for conducting monthly patient chart audits to ensure compliance with Texas Administrative Codes, generating time-sensitive reports to promote adequate levels of care, and providing support, training, and oversight to staff members. I also monitored client progress with treatment goals to assess intervention effectiveness and performed clinical assessments to evaluate individual needs for service, including crisis intervention.
