Education
Trinity International University, Master of Arts, Counseling Psychology, 2013 — My master's level studies combined elements of psychology and counseling to provide a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, mental health, and therapeutic techniques. The program focused on helping individuals address emotional, psychological, and relational challenges, with an emphasis on personal growth and well-being.
Work HistoryWith over 11 years of experience, I specialize in supporting adults, particularly professionals who are looking to improve their emotional well-being, manage stress, and enhance their relationships. Many of my clients seek therapy as a proactive tool to enhance their quality of life, career satisfaction, and overall personal growth, rather than waiting until a crisis arises. Throughout my career, I have worked in both private practice and non-profit organizations, where I developed expertise in helping individuals overcome emotional or psychological barriers. Whether navigating work stress, career transitions, or personal relationships, I support clients in reducing anxiety and trauma that can hinder their progress. I also work with clients to address life stress aggravated by past experiences, such as trauma or attachment wounds, and guide them toward healing and growth. As a certified Applied Metapsychology Facilitator and EMDR practitioner, I use a range of evidence-based approaches, including Traumatic Incident Reduction, Life Stress Reduction, and Crisis Intervention techniques. These methods help clients process challenging emotions, break harmful patterns, and experience a reduced emotional charge in their daily lives. Through this work, clients have been able to recover from domestic violence, improve self-esteem, and regain stability in both their personal and professional lives. What sets me apart is my client-centered, result-driven approach, grounded in the belief that people have the capacity to heal and grow. I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered to make lasting changes. I am deeply committed to walking alongside clients as they navigate their unique journeys toward greater life satisfaction and success, facilitating the healing process without imposing personal values or views.
