What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach is structured, practical, and collaborative. We start by getting clear on what is actually happening so things feel more manageable instead of overwhelming. Then we look at patterns in how you think and respond, not to label you but to understand what is keeping you stuck. From there, we work on changing those patterns in a way that fits you, whether that means testing a thought, trying a different response, or practicing a new skill in a real situation. Each session is focused on turning insight into something concrete you can use outside of therapy, and we adjust along the way based on what is actually working for you.

West Virginia University, Master of Social Work, Social Work, 2014
Work HistoryI’ve spent the past decade working in high pressure settings where people are dealing with real problems, not just ideas. I started in child protective services, helping families in crisis and making fast decisions around safety. That experience shaped how I think.
I then worked in a therapeutic group home with adolescents and families. A lot of that work was helping people understand patterns in their behavior and figure out how to respond differently in real situations.
Now I work as an outpatient therapist with adults, couples, and young people. I focus on anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, and relationship issues. I keep sessions structured and practical so you leave with something you can actually use.
People who work with me usually say I am clear, direct, and easy to talk to. I will help you understand what is going on without overcomplicating it, and I will push you to make changes that actually move things forward.
