Education
The Ohio State University, Master of Social Work, Social Work, 2022
Work HistoryIn my first clinical role as a graduate intern, I worked exclusively with BIPOC women who were survivors of sexual trauma. This experience grew my deep appreciation and passion for working with trauma survivors navigating the complexities of identity, safety, and healing in the context of marginalization, relational wounds, and systemic oppression. Throughout my career, many of the people I worked with have histories of complex trauma, emotional neglect, harmful relationships, or traumatic loss. Others were looking for a safe, affirming space to unpack internalized shame, reconnect with their bodies, and learn new ways of connecting to themselves and others.
