What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
It has been a lifetime dream of mine to become a therapist and I finally had the opportunity to do so. I have always had an internal drive to help others. I seem to have an innate ability to attune and connect well with people. I always dabbled in helping others. I was a volunteer for a Big Brother/Big Sister Program, I worked as a Marketer for a Teen Residential Program, was a Substitute Teacher, and worked as a volunteer in multiple primary education settings. This is my third career. I started out in advertising & marketing, transitioned to being a part-time bookkeeper so that I could raise my kids, and am now a licensed therapist.
I have an array of lifetime experiences which include immigrating to this country as a child, learning to adapt, getting married, raising children, managing the work life balance and all the challenges that come with it. I am well versed in, and have personal experience, with the many life transitions we all face.

Work HistoryI work in Private Practice via Telehealth and In-Person. I work with individuals 18 years and older. I started out working with children & teens in a school setting. I then moved into private practice and started working with individuals with a focus on parenting & co-parenting. My focus is now on those who are seeking to delve deeper into what might be causing their current symptoms and areas of concern and how these symptoms are impacting their daily functioning and interaction with others . The goal is to identify, process and manage current symptoms and begin to work towards reversing or changing maladaptive beliefs, facilitating coping mechanisms, encouraging personal growth & development for overall improvement to feeling better.
I specialize in helping clients with trauma, anxiety, life transitions, women's issues, abandonment issues, and more, I use an array of therapeutic modalities. I don't believe in a "one size fits all model" and adapt my modality to each client's unique needs and treatment goals. My goal is to help you feel to heal.
