Learn more about my:
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I had a pretty challenging childhood and many therapists and social workers were involved. None of them ever listened. When I was about 13 I was linked with someone who finally heard me. I’ll never forget the feeling. I knew right then, that this was what I wanted to do for others.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
What you see is what you get. I’m a real human with human experiences, just like you. I’m honest, funny, empathetic, thoughtful, and attentive. I’m listening.
How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
I have a very skilled network of clinicians that I can consult with if needed. I recognize that I don’t know everything and enjoy getting their perspectives. There will always be things to learn and new trainings to attend. I will always ask you before consulting.
