What is your style/approach to therapy?
Needing space to figure out who you are & giving yourself permission to grow where you are planted is important. I assist individuals navigating issues concerning minority identity, immigrant values, parenting as a child of immigrants, cultural imposter syndrome, trauma, life transition and addressing mental health topics, including the associated shame and stigma.
I have experience assisting numerous college & graduate students, including international students adjusting to life in the United States, particularly in demanding environments such as higher education. I am committed to assisting women who are considering pregnancy, managing fertility/ infertility issues, transitioning into motherhood, and dealing with domestic violence and sexual assault.
I support adults dealing with relationship issues, career and life changes, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, as well as existential crisis. I employ Eclectic therapy, which adjusts to the individual needs of each patient based on their specific issues, treatment goals, and personal expectations and motivation. I specialize in therapeutic approach that recognizes and centers on understanding various types of traumatic experiences affecting individuals.
Finding a therapist can be a challenging and overwhelming process. There may be times in one’s life when we experience emotional difficulties and need professional guidance to work through these issues. The focus of my sessions is to be approachable and to meet the needs of my clients. I am here to support you in your choices.
