What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?

Growing up as an African American and in Africa, mental health was so stigmatized and not accessible. The phrase "You have to be strong comes to mind" This motivated me to be one of the access to mental healthcare, and destigmatized mental health care. I practice collaboratively and holistically. You matter, You are heard and You are a priority.
