What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

I am a therapist and healer that understands the journey of therapy is a joint venture allowing individuals to let me know how things are going as we go along. My clients would describe me as a warm, nonjudgmental and compassionate healing presence who values active listening and providing wise feedback. Some would say I am an oracle and truth teller. I am humbled by that. This work is my purpose and calling as a result of lived experience, training, ceremonies, healing rituals and formal education. I help individuals unravel childhood trauma in a safe space, build healthy relationships, gain self-worth and work through mood challenges. The approach is utilizing evidence-based tools and unorthodox techniques, strategies, rituals and coping skills to step into renewal, growth, freedom, greater authenticity, joy and long lasting happiness contingent upon doing the work. Together we will get you there.

How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?

I enjoy collaboration with other mental health providers it's an invaluable resource and sounding board to navigate ethical dilemmas as they are skilled to listen carefully to complex client issues. Professional collaboration functions as an available support and accountability network in the rare moments when I am stumped. The benefits are immense having a professional team of support. I have 33 years working as a therapist. Collaboration with other therapists is an essential factor in successful treatment outcomes. I will go a step further to submit that yes it is customary, healthy and imperative for a therapist to have their own therapist to use as a resting place to care for their own mental health. We are professional helpers it's our nature to focus on taking care of people, I love this work and it's important to stay clear of burnout and talking through the challenges helps with that.
