Webster University, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, 1999 — My Master’s research was on the topic of MBCT Mindfulness-based Cognitive therapy and Dialectical Behavior therapy. The work was on the theoretical construct of reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety; emotional dysregulation and emotional constriction utilizing coping skills of mindfulness and cognitive restructuring clinical treatment. Moreover, research was done on the ways in which childhood developmental trauma can be buried in the brain and body causing emotional symptoms in adulthood and in relationships. I earned a cum laude GPA level in my undergraduate studies.
Work HistoryMy expertise is providing effective evidence based treatment and centuries old indigenous deep inner healing tools that are tried and true methods. treating anxiety, depression, complex and developmental trauma, low self-worth, ADHD, relationship problems, troubled teens and family conflict.
