If you could pick one movie or book that influenced your approach to therapy, what would it be and why?
The book that has influenced my therapeutic approach is Mans Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. The book is a chilling yet profoundly human tale of suffering, resilience and purpose. My therapy style isn't hyper focused in on symptom alleviation, but also helping people connect to the deeper rhythms of their existence. This existential style of therapy goes beyond the standard talk therapy and opens the door for people to view their life with a greater curiosity, respect and compassion.
