Work HistoryMy trauma-informed clinical work began through direct engagement with individuals who had experienced complex traumatic events, shaping my understanding of trauma’s impact across the lifespan. I further developed this foundation through volunteer work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, including supporting individuals in a women’s shelter as they sought safety, stabilization, and resources. I later provided family-focused interventions, offering psychoeducation and parent training to strengthen parent–child relationships and promote healthy attachment. I also worked in a university counseling settings providing mental health therapy to students with concerns including trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and academic stress. I later worked in private practice in Michigan for two years, providing individual and couples counseling. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, TF-CBT, IFS, EFT and Gottman Methods, to treat trauma and support individual and couples experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, and relational distress. These experiences have shaped my clinical identity and deepened my passion for helping individuals and couples heal, grow, and move toward meaningful change.
