Work HistoryI have spent 20 years as a licensed clinical social worker. Most of that time was in the work most of us are trained to do, and what I kept seeing was people who understood their own histories completely and still did not feel any different. That question is what moved me toward the body.
I trained in Brainspotting and went on to become a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, and I built the rest of my practice inside that frame rather than alongside it. Parts work, attachment, and somatic approaches all sit within it.
These days I work with adults carrying developmental, complex and preverbal trauma who have had years of therapy and are still symptomatic. I also work with behaviors that will not shift no matter how well someone understands them. And I work with people whose trauma work is already behind them and who want what comes after it.
My practice is solo and entirely virtual across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Florida. Adults and elders.
