Work HistoryMost therapists work in comfortable office settings with clients who show up voluntarily and are ready to engage. I didn't start there. I started with homeless outreach, juvenile justice programs, adult re-entry after incarceration, and inpatient hospitals, places where people don't always want help and trust doesn't come easy. That work taught me how to meet people where they are, even when "where they are" is resistant or uncertain about whether therapy can help. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from UNLV in 2019 with my master's in Social Work. I now work primarily with adults dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and major life transitions, but my background across homeless services, at-risk youth, and crisis settings means I'm not thrown by complexity or instability. I facilitate both individual and couples therapy, using approaches that range from CBT for practical skill-building to psychodynamic work when we need to understand deeper patterns. I also integrate Christian counseling for clients who want faith as part of their healing, and I also bring cultural sensitivity.
