Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I offer techniques to help diminish unwanted or challenging emotions, as well as communication strategies, social skills and self compassion. I understand the importance of recognizing neurodivergence and that treatment will look different for those particular clients. I want to teach you to have a good relationship with yourself and with others. It is my main focus to have my clients feel comfortable from the very first session!
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I always knew that I would be helping others in some way. I was the little girl at birthday parties who would wind up in a corner somewhere listening to a friend in need.
After raising my children to a particular age, I decided I would begin the path to obtaining a Masters Degree and finally beginning the career that just seemed natural for me.
