In what ways do your life philosophy and treatment philosophy overlap?

In all ways! I believe in walking one's talk. Who we are—who we REALLY are, not who we think we should be—is essential to the health of humanity. We all contribute. A community is only as healthy as the individuals that comprise it. That's why it's so important for us to do the inner work necessary to live our best life—for the benefit of ourselves and the rest of our world family.

Work History

I am licensed in New York as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I hold an MFA in Creative Writing and have certifications in Transformational Life Coaching and Clinical Hypnotherapy. I received shamanic training from the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. My background includes a long career in writing and acting, which informs my work with creative clients. Whatever feels “off” in your life—depression, unhealthy boundaries, a dead-end career, anxiety, loneliness, low self-esteem—is a symptom of a larger problem: an unbalanced and under-appreciated Self. Just like a fever lets us know we have an infection, life problems let us know something deep within us isn’t right. We don’t blame the fever, we thank it for alerting us to the bigger problem. Using life’s challenges as a guide, we work together to build the foundation of self you need in order to live an enriching and fully human life. This deep work benefits not only yourself but also your loved ones and the rest of our human family.
