Are there any recurring themes or issues you’ve noticed as you treat people in your area of specialization, and how has this insight guided your approach?
In my work with high-achieving adults, I consistently see themes of loneliness and a sense of unfulfillment, even among those who appear outwardly successful. Many are driven to meet high standards and please others, which can contribute to anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and persistent imposter syndrome. Despite having full personal and professional lives, they often struggle to feel truly known or supported, especially during their most difficult moments.
These challenges can become even more pronounced during periods of transition, such as career changes, parenthood, location change, relationship shifts, or increased responsibilities, when multiple stressors are layered at once. During these times, it can feel especially difficult to keep pushing forward while maintaining a sense of stability and self-trust.
This insight has guided my approach toward creating a therapeutic space where clients can show up authentically without pressure to perform. I focus on helping individuals build self-awareness, develop more sustainable expectations of themselves, and navigate transitions with greater resilience, while also promoting deeper, more meaningful connections with others and within themselves.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I primarily work with high-achieving adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, imposter syndrome, and perfectionism, and I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and person-centered approaches to support sustainable change.
I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can step away from pressure and show up authentically. Together, we build insight and develop practical tools to manage anxiety, reduce burnout, and navigate the challenges that often come with being a high-achiever.
In addition to our work during sessions, I provide strategies and exercises clients can practice between sessions to reinforce progress and support long-term growth.
