Work History
I currently work with the Department of Veteran's Affairs, where I provide Cognitive Processing Therapy to veterans who are diagnosed with PTSD from any type of trauma, military related or not. In this position, I am also able to offer individual and couple's supportive counseling. Prior to my VA career, I worked as one of the social work supervisors at my local maximum security facility for the criminally insane and a crisis intervention clinician for our local emergency department. I began my part-time private practice journey while working as a supervisor due to my love for connecting with others and engaging in psychotherapy, both of which I was missing while in that role.
