Get To Know Me
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I decided to pursue a career as a therapist during the spring of my senior year of college. Although I had initially been on a pre-medicine track, I realized I wanted a career that would allow me to build meaningful, lasting relationships with the people I served. Having personally benefited from counseling as a college student, I was inspired to pursue a profession where I could offer others the same support, encouragement, and sense of connection that had been so meaningful to me.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
My hope is that clients leave our sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves—including what matters most to them, how past experiences may influence their thoughts/feelings/behaviors, and what goals they have for the future. From there, we can turn insight into action. I want clients to leave with practical next steps and the confidence and motivation to move toward the life they want to live.
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I firmly believe that you are the expert on your own life. My training, licensure, and experience allow me to offer an objective perspective, thoughtful guidance, and practical support, but ultimately, my role is to help you work toward the goals that matter most to you. I tailor my approach to each individual and believe therapy is most effective when we work collaboratively. Often, clients already have a sense of where they want to go—they simply need a safe, supportive space and someone to walk alongside them as they get there.

Professional Background

Education
Malone University, Master of Arts, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2022
Malone University, Bachelor of Arts, Biochemistry, with a minor in Psychology, 2020
Work HistoryI earned both my Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and my bachelor's degree from Malone University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Designation (LPCC-S) and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in the state of Ohio.
Before opening my private practice, I worked at a nonprofit community behavioral health agency from 2020-2025. During that time, I provided counseling across a variety of settings including residential substance use treatment for men and women, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient mental health services. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults facing a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns.
After the birth of my first child, I made the decision to start my own telehealth practice. This transition has allowed me to continue providing high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining a sustainable work-life balance. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely seen, supported, and challenged in a positive way, and I strive to bring that approach to every counseling relationship.
