Work HistoryHi, my name is Mubeen Ali, but I go by Raja. I am a therapist in Dallas, Texas, and I love working with both Gen-Z and millennials as they go through the life stages of adulthood. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, and LGBTQIA sexuality. A lot of my clients are like me: first-generation Americans, Members of the LGBTQIA community, and the BIPOC community. Each of these comes with its own set of unique challenges. Many of the individuals I see struggle with the societal impacts of being a minority while trying to break through the barriers of generational trauma. Working with me involves exploring the complexities of your identity, coping with oppression and discrimination, and navigating relationship, family, and cultural challenges. When you are in my office, we work at your pace. I will encourage you to embrace your true self and ensure you feel safe and comfortable. My practice philosophy is driven by three things: 1. Everyone deserves better mental health, 2. Therapy has healing powers, and 3. Normal is a setting on a washing machine. If this resonates with you and you’re ready to explore, please contact me. I’d love to begin this therapeutic journey with you.
