Work HistoryMy journey as a therapist began as a volunteer at a rape crisis center, where I accompanied survivors during forensic exams. This role deepened my understanding of trauma and its profound impact on individuals. Recognizing my commitment and passion, the center hired me as a staff advocate. In this position, I was on call, frequently going to hospitals to provide immediate support to survivors. This hands-on experience solidified my dedication to the field of trauma therapy. To further my expertise, I completed both my practicum and internship at the same rape crisis center, gaining invaluable insights and honing my skills in supporting those affected by trauma. Later, I trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and became a registered yoga teacher, integrating these modalities into my work to provide holistic support to trauma survivors.
