Get To Know Me
In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is deeply influenced by my nature as a calming presence, especially in times of turmoil. In a world filled with stressors and challenges, I understand the importance of having someone who can be a steady, soothing force amidst the chaos. I am that gentle guide, helping you to find grounding and stability when it feels like everything else is spinning. As an empathetic listener, I'm here to help you recognize and trust the inner strength you already possess, often hidden beneath self-doubt. My role is to support and accompany you on your journey of self-discovery, offering a compassionate ear and a calming influence every step of the way.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
My path to becoming a therapist began with my own story of growing up in a home shaped by alcoholism, where I often felt shame, isolation, and a longing for connection. Those early experiences planted a seed of compassion in me for others who carry invisible wounds. Over the years, I found healing in my own journey and recognized the power of empathy, calmness, and resilience as strengths I could offer others. That realization, paired with over 15 years of experience guiding, coaching, and supporting people, led me to pursue counseling as more than a career — it became my calling. Becoming a therapist has allowed me to transform my pain into purpose, helping others see their own strength and reminding them they are not alone in their struggles.
