Education
Simmons School of Social Work, Master of Social Work, Counseling, 2021 — I’ve always had a soft place in my heart for people’s stories, and that natural pull led me into social work, where I learned to understand people at the individual, relational, and societal levels. Seeing clients’ challenges and resilience up close made it clear that I wanted to help in a more personal way, which is what inspired me to become a therapist. Through my training and experience, I’ve learned that we all make mistakes, and the hardest part is how quickly we judge ourselves. I’m no different; I’m a therapist, but I’m also human. In our work together, you’ll have a space where you can think out loud, feel out loud, and even judge yourself without fear of judgment from me. My role is to listen, validate, and help you make sense of your story in a way that feels safe, honest, and deeply human.
Work HistoryI began my clinical journey as an Intern Therapist with the Bellevue Police and Fire Department, supporting individuals in crisis and learning to navigate high‑intensity situations alongside first responders, before moving into my role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate at Dayspring Behavioral Health, where I provided outpatient therapy to clients with diverse mental health needs. I now own Guided Path Therapy and practice in partnership with Mindful Therapy Group as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, offering culturally responsive, evidence‑based care shaped by my lived experience moving between India, Canada, and the United States and by the many roles I hold within my multigenerational family. These experiences allow me to meet clients with genuine curiosity, cultural awareness, and deep respect for the complexity of their stories as I help them slow down, regulate, and make sense of emotions and patterns that feel overwhelming—whether connected to anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, or cultural expectations. I offer therapy in English, Punjabi, and Hindi so clients can express themselves in the language that feels most natural, and I strive to create a space where they don’t have to translate their feelings or their identity, where they can move at their own pace, and where healing feels both possible and supported.
