I provide a holistic approach to therapy and I value and incorporate all aspects of my clients' lives, compassionately and without judgement. I utilize a trauma informed lens and in our work together, we may incorporate a variety of different approaches that cater to your specific needs. There is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy. We may use a combination of EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Parts work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to guide your treatment and achieve your goals. I practice from a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective, meaning that health exists on a continuum, and I will always respect and celebrate the inherent diversity of every body, shape and size.

This is the most important consideration in starting any type therapy and sometimes the hardest part! Processing through deep emotional work can be really scary and can feel uncomfortable at times, which is why finding the right fit is so critical. During our first couple of sessions we will begin to get to know one another and assess if we are a good match. I will ask questions to get a sense of why you are seeking therapy, what you are hoping to get out of our work together and what your expectations of me are. You'll also have the opportunity to ask about my practice and approach, as well as any other questions you may have about the therapeutic process. I've found that when the "fit" is right, we are naturally able to create a safe and reliable place for you to be able to show up authentically to help you unpack whatever may have brought you here.
