Work HistoryFrom 2022 to 2025 at Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute, I facilitated expressive therapy groups, provided individual trauma counseling, managed crisis interventions, and led hospital-wide events while also participating in leadership training; simultaneously, I ran my private practice, Moonmend Embodied Counseling, serving clients aged 20-40 with a focus on trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues, and engaged in community mental health education as well as created the "Fantasy Play for Inner Child Healing" method; prior to that, at Compass Counseling Services in Orlando from 2020 to 2022, I provided psychotherapy to a diverse range of clients utilizing expressive arts therapies and crisis support; and from 2019 to 2020 at Boston Trauma Response, I offered counseling and case management to at-risk youth and families, while also leading a psychoeducation group at a men’s prison.
