In what ways does your personality influence your approach to therapy?
I am a lover of fantasy and imagination, both of which I bring into my practice. I have had great success relating beloved characters from books or movies to individuals who struggle to understand what they are experiencing. Additionally, I have studied the use of fantasy in trauma healing and discovered methods of utilizing qualities of magic and power to represent inner strength and protection. I also adore the forest and have been studying Sylvotherapy which I frequently encourage my clients to engage in as a way of reconnecting to nature and feeling present in their body.
