Training/CertificationsCertified Trauma Professional through Evergreen Certifications
Education
Dallas Baptist University, Master of Arts, Professional Counseling, 2022 — In my graduate program I was required to complete a 700 hour internship. This meant I was working at an internship site where I provided counseling services for various issues with various populations. I was exposed to couples working through infidelity, sexual intimacy issues, and communication styles. I saw teens, college students, and adults struggling with intrusive thoughts, suicidal thoughts, and racing thoughts. I helped clients who had a tendency to self-harm find healthier ways of coping.
