What is your style/approach to therapy?
I am very much a values based counselor. I work with my clients on what I call VBA's which is short for values based actions. I work with people to help them live their best life based on things that are truly important to them.
Is there any research-based work you’ve done that you found particularly exciting, and how has that informed your practice today?

In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
One of the things that I bring to my therapeutic process, specifically working with people with addiction issues is my own history of 22 years in recovery. I incorporate some of my own experiences over those 22 years to help people move forward on their own path of recovery.
