I am here to accompany you as you create meaningfulness in your life, experience successes presently unattainable, and make both repeatable and long-standing. I am a licensed counselor with over 25 years experience spending time with people pursuing relief from anxiety and depression, managing their difficulties in relationships, and other painful human experiences and uniquely impactful to you. There are times that we need to connect with someone outside of our typical realm. We need to feel heard and to be regarded differently that what our community affords us. Most who come through my door are seeking a place to be themselves, as flawed and misunderstood as they may feel. Outsiders find themselves worthy and cared for here. I will encourage you to grow to trust yourself and the decisions that you are about to make. My experience in working with people is focused on empowerment. I want to help you create a sense of certainty in your risk-taking and progress. I adhere strongly to the principles of integrity and individuality. I am not fearful, corrective, or innocent. I work with diverse people from many different parts of the world, each unique in their presence in the here and now. I work with diverse people of varied self-perceptions, lifestyles and outward-presenting orientation. There are many counselors to choose from on Psychology Today. You have taken the first step toward more whole-hearted living. I am here to motivate you to take your next step towards wholeness. Being "whole" includes recognizing the source of your discomfort, internal and external and amending it. Some people call this shadow work as it lives in the darkened areas of our self-concept, until we look at it, see it, acknowledge that it is us yet we are not limited to it.
