How does collaboration with other providers play into your work?
I believe therapy works best when it’s part of a bigger picture of care. Many of my clients are already working with primary care doctors, psychiatrists, or even coaches and physical therapists, especially athletes seeking sports performance enhancement or individuals managing trauma and anxiety alongside medical concerns. With your permission, I collaborate closely with these providers to make sure we’re all moving in the same direction. For trauma therapy, that can mean coordinating with a psychiatrist about medication support, or for athletes, sharing progress with a performance coach to reinforce mental and physical goals. This kind of teamwork helps reduce gaps in care and gives you a more complete, consistent support system. My role is to make sure therapy doesn’t exist in a vacuum — instead, it becomes a strong part of your overall plan for healing, resilience, and performance.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
The foundation of my work is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a proven approach that helps people reprocess trauma, reduce anxiety, and move past painful experiences. I also use Transformational EMDR, which blends EMDR with Jungian psychology to support deeper self-awareness and long-term growth. For clients struggling with performance blocks — whether in sports, career, or creative work — I integrate performance psychology tools to improve focus, reduce stress, and overcome barriers like the “yips” or burnout. Alongside EMDR, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based practices to give clients practical coping skills they can use right away. Every session is tailored to your needs, so therapy isn’t just about managing symptoms — it’s about building lasting resilience, confidence, and clarity.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling lighter, calmer, and more in control. With EMDR therapy, you can expect to gradually let go of the weight of trauma, reduce anxiety and intrusive thoughts, and feel more at ease in your daily life. If you’re struggling with burnout or stress, our work together will focus on helping you regain balance, build healthier boundaries, and find new ways to recharge. For athletes and high performers, you can expect tools to sharpen focus, overcome mental blocks like performance anxiety or the “yips,” and perform with more confidence. Above all, therapy with me isn’t just about coping — it’s about creating real change that lasts, so you can move forward with clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of who you are.

Oral Roberts University, Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2012 — My graduate training emphasized trauma recovery, anxiety treatment, and performance psychology. I gained experience in diverse clinical settings — from psychiatric residential care to college counseling — working with individuals, families, and professionals. This foundation prepared me to specialize in EMDR therapy, trauma recovery, and performance enhancement, helping clients not only heal from the past but also unlock their potential in sports, work, and life.

Work HistoryI’ve spent more than 12 years helping adults, professionals, and athletes navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, and burnout. My early work in community and residential settings taught me how to support people through their toughest moments. Over time, I was drawn to specialize in EMDR therapy, which has become the heart of my practice. Today, I focus on virtual EMDR therapy across Florida, helping clients work through trauma, reduce anxiety, improve sleep, and build resilience. I also specialize in sports performance and performance enhancement, helping athletes and high achievers break through mental blocks like the “yips,” performance anxiety, and stress-related burnout. Alongside my therapy work, I consult with other therapists and continue developing Transformational EMDR, an integrative approach blending EMDR and Jungian psychology to support deeper, lasting change.
