Professional Background
LicensureMissouri, Licensed Professional Counselor, 2021013549
Education
University of Missouri--St Louis, Master of Education, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2020 — Degree earned with emphasis in LGBTQIA+ care.
Work HistoryI have worked extensively with people experiencing depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts as a focused part of a previous job. However, that experience, my lived experience, my typical client experience, and my education have all been pieces that have and continue to inform my work with people in the LGBTQIA+ community dealing with the multitude of issues faced by this community of people. My background working in resource connection for people keeps it in mind that not all issues are internal--the world, society, and our culture place immense pressures on us without providing us with direct solutions and this matters a lot.
