What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, individualized, and built on a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable exploring difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable.
I take an active role in therapy by providing education, asking thoughtful questions, and helping you develop practical skills that you can apply outside of sessions. While I specialize in EMDR therapy, I do not believe every client needs the same approach or that healing follows a single path. Together, we'll determine the treatment that best fits your goals, needs, and readiness.
I also value transparency and open communication. If something isn't working, I encourage clients to let me know so we can adjust our approach. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I want you to feel empowered to ask questions, share feedback, and actively participate in your care.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, so together we'll identify the treatment strategies that best support your goals and current stage of healing.
I specialize in EMDR therapy while integrating other evidence-based approaches when appropriate. I take a holistic perspective, recognizing that emotional well-being is influenced by factors such as past experiences, relationships, stress, sleep, physical health, and nervous system functioning. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop effective coping skills, process difficult experiences when appropriate, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Above all, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
What are your biggest strengths as a therapist?
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I strive to understand the whole person, considering not only their symptoms but also their life experiences, relationships, nervous system, and the many factors that may be influencing their well-being.
Clients often appreciate my warm, compassionate, and collaborative style. I believe therapy works best when people feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment. I also value transparency and take time to explain the rationale behind treatment recommendations so clients can make informed decisions about their care.
Another strength is my commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice. I regularly pursue advanced training to ensure I provide high-quality care while integrating research with clinical experience. My goal is to help clients feel supported, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and develop practical skills that promote lasting growth and resilience.

Work HistoryThroughout my career, I have worked with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, panic, and major life transitions in outpatient mental health settings and private practice. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how difficult life experiences can affect the brain, nervous system, relationships, and emotional well-being.
I specialize in trauma-informed care and EMDR therapy, helping clients heal from both recent and long-standing traumatic experiences. I recognize that healing looks different for everyone, so I tailor treatment to each person's unique needs, goals, and readiness. My approach combines evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective, considering how factors such as stress, sleep, physical health, and life circumstances can influence mental health.
I am committed to ongoing education and advanced training to ensure my clients receive high-quality, evidence-based care that supports meaningful and lasting change.
