Education
Divine Mercy University, Master of Science in Counseling, 2020
Work HistoryYou've tried talking about your problems, but talking hasn't fixed them. Real healing requires more than conversation, it requires addressing what's happening in your body, your heart, and your spirit. I graduated from Divine Mercy University in 2020 with my master's in counseling, but my foundation came from years as a restorative nurse, volunteer firefighter, and licensed teacher. I've worked in crisis situations where there's no time for theory, you assess, intervene, and help people stabilize.
I specialize in trauma treatment using EMDR, Gestalt methods, and the HEART model. I also work with addiction, helping clients build the interpersonal skills and confidence needed for independent living. My clients range from children to older adults, and I use whatever approach fits, CBT for some, play therapy or art therapy for kids, reality therapy when someone needs directness, even virtual reality exposure therapy when appropriate.
I'm certified as a traumatologist through the Green Cross, and I don't shy away from tough cases. I can be nurturing when you need support and direct when you need reality. My goal is helping you function better in your life. You can reach me through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976. You can also message me or use this link: https://bit.ly/3JQzitS
