What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
When the pandemic hit in 2020, I watched the people around me — friends, neighbors, family — unravel in ways that felt both sudden and long overdue. The systems we'd been holding together with sheer willpower stopped working. For me, that moment became a turning point. I walked away from a career in marketing because I realized my calling was in the room with people, not behind a campaign. Helping individuals work through the hard stuff felt like the culmination of everything I'd experienced and cared about.
Now, in my practice, I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults — particularly those with ADHD, autism, and AuDHD — and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples who are navigating the tension between professional success and personal wellbeing. My clients are smart, capable people who are managing anxiety, burnout, relationship strain, and the invisible labor of masking — often all at once.
