Get To Know Me
What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
As a mental health clinician with a master's degree in music psychotherapy, my therapy practice aligns with my personal values of social justice, the power of queerness and living unconventionally. My approach to therapy is different than the norm, because we are living in abnormal times. I believe that we need support that reflects our realities.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
As a music psychotherapist, I use music based interventions and other creative techniques to help clients access the deepest parts of their psyches, so that they may better understand themselves. By knowing ourselves, we may move through challenges and discomfort with groundedness, empowerment, and a sense of freedom.
Therapy sessions with me often include inner-child communication, parts work, challenging stubborn self-beliefs, and encouragement to trust your highest self. Together, we can navigate present-day challenges while by connecting the dots to your past and exploring your highest truths, values, and dreams.

Work HistoryI began practicing as a music therapist in 2016. In 2019, I got sober and began a deep dive into my own emotional health. Through years of self-reflection and growth, I ultimately came out of denial - which for me, meant accepting truths about my substance abuse and complex trauma, as well as honoring my dreams of being a singer-songwriter and artist. I began to take steps towards building my life in a way that supports my emotional recovery and my dreams. I am so grateful for the connection to myself I have found and continue to find along the way. Throughout this journey, I have had the opportunity of working with adults and adolescents in mental health settings, end of life care, and medical settings. I strongly believe that my personal healing and professional experiences help me better serve others navigating their own healing path.
