Work HistoryI began practicing as a music therapist in 2016. In 2019, I got sober and began a deep dive into my own emotional health. Through years of self-reflection and growth, I ultimately came out of denial - which for me, meant accepting truths about my substance abuse and complex trauma, as well as honoring my dreams of being a singer-songwriter and artist. I began to take steps towards building my life in a way that supports my emotional recovery and my dreams. I am so grateful for the connection to myself I have found and continue to find along the way. Throughout this journey, I have had the opportunity of working with adults and adolescents in mental health settings, end of life care, and medical settings. I strongly believe that my personal healing and professional experiences help me better serve others navigating their own healing path.
