What would be important for someone to know about working with you?
I consider therapy a collaborative process—we work together where you are at. Therapy is a human relationship based experience. For some, it goes quickly and others take more time. Consistency is important in therapy, just as it is in other relationships. I consider each client individually and get to know who you are and what your needs are.
In what ways have your personal experiences influenced your work with your clients?
I have a varied and diverse history. This has provided me with a basis for working with many different kinds of people with different needs. My history has helped me discover the richness of being human.
What is your style/approach to therapy?
Therapy is individual to the client and what their needs are. Sometimes it is challenging to for the client notice progress even though the therapist may see it more clearly. This is why it’s important for the client and therapist to have a connected and communicative therapeutic relationship. This may take time and practice. Emphasis is placed on client needs and the therapeutic relationship.

Work HistoryI began my career as a psychotherapist in community mental health and child welfare. I later worked in in an outpatient intensive program (IOP) as lead therapist in a hospital setting. I opened my solo practice in 2017 and see clients in person and remotely. I enjoy working with clients. My focus includes trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and OCD.
