Under Clinical Supervision

Sam Caurdy, Mental Health Counselor - Limited Permit, NA is practicing under the supervision of Amanda Taylor (Pennsylvania, LMFT, MF001260) at Counseling and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What would be important for someone to know about working with you?

Trust, honesty, openness and acceptance are the foundational components of my professional working relationships with clients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients should expect the ability to gain the understanding, skills, and strategies to embrace and implement change that is congruent to their beliefs, views, and goals.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

My styles begins and ends with collaboration. I view myself as a facilitator while the client is the expert. Together, we work together blending our expertise to develop and implement changes that lead to a fulfilling and empowering life.
