What do you view as a key component of the therapeutic relationship?
I believe that the most important factor for people to make positive change is having a particular type of supportive relationship: one where they feel safe, heard, and understood with a person who can hold up a mirror for them to see what is good and right about them (instead of what is “wrong” or “broken”).
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My work is rooted in creating compassionate connections that help individuals find relief from suffering and experience more fulfilling lives. My style is supportive, collaborative, and highly reflective. I'll create a space for you to safely explore your thoughts and emotions and sort out the changes that feel right for you, moving at your comfortable pace. Together we'll explore strategies that take care of the whole you (mind, body, emotions).

Work History
Prior to starting a private practice, I worked for several Bay Area nonprofit mental health organizations, helping those suffering from substance overuse, mood and anxiety disorders, and life difficulties such as loss, divorce, and homelessness. During those years, I had the privilege of providing clinical supervision to other therapists and helping professionals, mentoring and guiding them to navigate professional challenges, gain confidence as practitioners, and create habits for career longevity.
