I believe that the most important factor for people to make positive change is having a particular type of supportive relationship: one where they feel safe, heard, and understood with a person who can hold up a mirror for them to see what is good and right about them (instead of what is “wrong” or “broken”).
What is your style/approach to therapy?
My work is rooted in creating compassionate connections that help individuals find relief from suffering and experience more fulfilling lives. My style is supportive, collaborative, and highly reflective. I'll create a space for you to safely explore your thoughts and emotions and sort out the changes that feel right for you, moving at your comfortable pace. Together we'll explore strategies that take care of the whole you (mind, body, emotions).

Work HistoryPrior to starting a private practice, I worked for several Bay Area nonprofit mental health organizations, helping those suffering from substance overuse, mood and anxiety disorders, and life difficulties such as loss, divorce, and homelessness.
