Education
Roosevelt University, Master of Arts, Clinical Psychology Counseling Practice, 2023
University of Illinoist at Chicago, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology, 2018
Work HistoryMy practicum (internship) experience was at a children and adolescent psychiatric hospital program on the West side of Chicago, which primarily served lower socioeconomic status POC children from all over the city. I worked with a variety of cases and clients across inpatient services to partial hospitalization patients. Due to the intensive nature of the hospital, I have a lot of experience working with trauma cases. Personally, I would like to work with immigrants, people of color (POC) and LGBTQIA+ people who are often underserved in the mental health field. I currently work at a trauma focused private practice which often serves these populations as well due to the intersectionality of multiple identities.
