Work HistoryMy clinical experience comes from working with clients across a range of settings, which has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of how mental health shows up in real life -- not just in theory. I’ve supported individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My work as a therapist, in particular, has taken place across a wide range of settings, from hospitals and intensive care units to school environments. Working in medical settings exposed me to people navigating serious illness, medical trauma, grief, and sudden life changes. These experiences taught me how to stay calm and grounded during high-stress moments and how to support people when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. In school settings, I worked closely with children, teens, and families, which deepened my understanding of how emotional challenges show up across different stages of life. This work emphasized the importance of clear communication, flexibility, and meeting people where they are. For the past three years, I’ve been in private practice, where I’ve continued to build on these experiences while working more deeply with clients over time. Private practice has allowed me to focus on patterns, relationships, and long-term growth, while still offering practical tools and support for day-to-day challenges. Together, these experiences shape an approach to therapy that is compassionate, steady, and tailored to each individual. Working in both short-term and longer-term therapy settings has helped me learn how to meet clients where they are, whether they’re looking for practical tools, deeper insight, or space to process difficult experiences. These experiences shaped my belief in therapy that is compassionate, flexible, and tailored to each person rather than one-size-fits-all.
