Professional Background
LicensureNevada, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, CP6220
Education
Walden University, Associate of Applied Arts, Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, 2023
Work HistoryIf you've been using substances or behaviors to numb trauma you haven't dealt with, you already know that temporary relief creates longer-term problems. I work specifically with adults whose addiction stems from unresolved trauma, because treating one without addressing the other rarely sticks. My training at Walden University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling gave me the traditional tools (CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, somatic therapy), but I combine those with movement, breathwork, and energy work when appropriate. Not everyone needs or wants that method, but for clients who do, it opens doors that talk therapy alone can't. I've worked with individuals managing eating disorders, sexual trauma, codependency, and various forms of addiction. My background as an advanced yoga teacher and reiki healer means I understand how disconnection from your body can fuel destructive patterns. I also work with clients exploring gender identity, sexuality, and relationship issues. If trauma and addiction have been feeding each other in your life, let's talk about breaking that cycle. If you’d like support, you can reach me through Insight Therapy Solutions at 888-409-8976.
