Education
University of Pennsylvania school of Social Policy and Practice, Master of Social Work, Master of Social Work in clinical practice at UPENN, 2019 — I attended an accelerated program at a highly rated university in Philadelphia where I spent my full time internship providing in person and group therapy to people in active substance use and recovery.
Messiah College, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSW), 2018 — I attended a four year program and received a bachelor of social work along with a minor in criminal justice to better understand the systems in which we are working in (or up against).
Work HistoryI spent about 2 years working as a mental health therapist at a methadone rehabilitative program where I provided individual and group therapy. I then transitioned into private practice in 2021 where I provide in-person and online therapy to clients 18+. I have found that I work well with people experiencing loss, the LGBT+ community, young adults experiencing life changes, school teachers, healthcare workers, and issues surrounding early parenthood. I've worked with partners through all stages of becoming parents including: non-traditional paths to pregnancy, miscarriages, difficult pregnancies, and adjusting to being a new parent.
