Get To Know Me
What is your style/approach to therapy?
I provide anxiety therapy, trauma therapy, and relationship counseling for women and college students using a client-centered approach. We will work together from the root to figure out what the challenges are and develop strategies to cope differently with life’s struggles and stressors. My clients walk away from their therapy and counseling sessions feeling like they have more control of their anxiety, are less stressed, and able to have healthier boundaries and relationships. Clients learn the tools to finally break free from those repetitive thought spirals and limiting beliefs that keep them stuck. They begin to acknowledge and understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Past clients have described feeling as though they have a new outlook on life and feel better about themselves.
What does a first session with you look like?
First we examine your history, thought patterns and relational dynamics that are causing challenges. Then, we learn about healthy boundaries, communication skills and behavior changes that will be most effective for you. Through our work together you’ll develop the skills and self-confidence to thrive in all aspects of life. I help professional women and college students, just like you: ones that have it within them to be healthy, happy, and thriving again, but just need the support to get there. I help my clients find confidence, happiness, and fulfillment by equipping them with the tools they need to better understand themselves and one another.
What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
I am dedicated to helping women and college students discover a new outlook on life, grow, heal, and move forward through counseling. I get it because I’ve struggled with these issues myself and have devoted my career to working with these challenges. I know that these challenges can feel all consuming and it can feel hard to keep trying. I understand, and when we work together you won’t just get a trained therapist, you will get someone who genuinely understands what you are going through.

Work HistoryI specialize in working with women and college students struggling with anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who “gets” them on a deeper level, is easy to talk to, open-minded, and relatable, because therapy should be a place where you feel seen and heard. Sessions with me are non-judgmental and go at your own pace. My training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Mindfulness means I have the expertise you need and deserve when working on healing the relationship with self and others. At the end of the day, you want to know that you are working with someone who “gets” what it means to be challenged with anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges.
