Work HistoryMy educational journey is the backbone of my therapeutic approach. It's been a path shaped by curiosity, hands-on experience, and a deep desire to understand the human experience. I began with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Northeastern University, where I was first introduced to the ways in which social and cultural forces shape our behavior. This sparked a fascination with the ways individuals navigate their environments. It was here that I realized I wanted to help people make sense of their own experiences.
After extensive experience in direct care as a counselor in residential and school settings, I wanted to expand my skills. I went on to earn my Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counseling from Winthrop University in 2009, with a focus on Early Intervention Therapy. I then had the privilege of working closely with children and families to support their growth through challenges. This role deepened my understanding of the ways early experiences shape how we relate to the world. I went on to receive further training in marriage and family therapy from the Denver Family Institute.
