Under Clinical Supervision

Ms. Sasha Schultz, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, 145454 is practicing under the supervision of Alison Shlomi (California, LCSW, 82018) at Launched Therapy Group.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What does success look like in therapy? How will a client know that they are making progress?

Success in therapy is dependent on the therapist's ability to build trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship. Once a trusted relationship is built, clients can expect success in therapy to show tangible and emotional progress. Clients will show increased emotional openness, improved communication, and a deeper understanding of self and others. They’ll develop healthier conflict-resolution skills and experience more satisfaction in their relationships. Progress is visible when clients actively apply new insights and strategies, demonstrate a stronger emotional connection, and report positive changes in their daily interactions and overall relationship satisfaction.

Work History

I recently completed a competitive internship at Sentio Counseling Center where I received expert training in the following areas (Motivational Interviewing, EFCT, CBT, DBT, and Schema Therapy) and expert supervision by a team of experienced professionals in their field. Specifically, I had an EFCT-trained couples supervisor who trained me from the EFT modality in how to guide couples through vulnerabilities, validate feelings, and create lasting, meaningful change in their connections.
