Under Clinical Supervision

Savannah Bowden, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, MC61558915 is practicing under the supervision of Raquel Sadler (Washington, LCMHC, LH61201734) at Sadler-Bridges Wellness Group.

Please, note: A clinician listed as being “clinically supervised” is completing clinical hours toward their licensure. They have one or more fully licensed clinical supervisors that often have special training to become supervisors. They consult with their supervisor(s) on all of their cases, which means that, when working with them, you are getting the time and expertise of multiple therapists in your treatment.

What is your style/approach to therapy?

Together we will explore what experiences and patterns have led you to where you are, and work to forge new paths forward for a happier and healthier you. The therapy space is designed to be a safe space for you to use however you feel is best. In our sessions you will be encouraged to speak freely of anything that comes to mind, including what may feel “taboo” or uncomfortable, and together we will explore these thoughts and early memories. We will seek to find the root of your concerns through identifying patterns throughout your life and finding meaning in your experiences. While I will work hard to support and guide you through this process, your journey here is ultimately up to you to guide. In couples/relationship and family therapy I take a similar approach, however the focus will be on the shared goals of the individuals in the therapy space. These goals, like in individual therapy, may morph and change over time, and I will adjust to meet the needs of those involved. We will identify patterns and find meaning in experiences within the history of the relationship while taking into account that each brings their own background and worldview into the relationship. I am working towards obtaining my level-1 Gottman training for couples therapy and will draw from the Gottman model as appropriate for shared goals of the couple.
