What was your path to becoming a therapist? What inspired you to choose this profession?
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent over 25 years in Senior Leadership at notable Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and large corporations. I intimately understand the struggles corporate leadership…. All while balancing a personal and family life. I also understand trauma, personally and professionally, and its impact intergenerationally and holistically. Trauma affects not only the person, but the entire social and family system. After years of witnessing emotional suffering, I became interested in holistic healing. As a Reiki Master and a Karuna Reiki Master, Astrologist, Human Design Analyst, and Spiritualist, I understand how energy and intention impact holistic well-being. I chose to step down from my corporate role and become a therapist to help others move from surviving to thriving. I obtained my master’s degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, and am a doctorate candidate in the Integral & Transpersonal Psychology program, emphasizing on the Neuroscience of Consciousness Studies. My doctoral dissertation looks at the impact of loneliness on female leaders in corporate America, specifically looking at the neurobiology of connection and the collapse of quantum interconnectedness. I am an adjunct professor at California Institute of Integral Studies, and a researcher at Fielding Graduate University. My research and passion is trauma – looking at the dynamics of childhood abuse, divorce, racial and cultural trauma, and corporate America. I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California, as well as a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I have advanced training in trauma and dissociation from the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, EMDR, Clinical Hypnotherapy, AASECT Sex Therapy, Gottman Method (Level 3), and am a certified SEP by the Somatic Experiencing Institute. If you are looking for a therapist who understands personal and professional struggles, I am the therapist for you. Let’s connect today.

Work History
I have worked in many clinical settings. I worked in Mission Viejo, CA at Mission Hospital where I provided psychotherapy to predominantly children and teens between the ages of 4 and 17. I worked in South Central LA for the Jenesse Center, working with ex-gang members, sex trafficking survivors, and domestic violence victims. I spent time working at the Liberation Institute in San Francisco, CA working with the LGBTQ+ population around issues of trauma, relationships, and racial & cultural struggles. I then moved into private practice as a Holistic Trauma Therapist working with Adults and Teens who what to dig deep. I also work with many professionals and executives dealing with workplace challenges, toxic work environments, and harrassment. Through my journey, I have learned that trauma treatment cannot simply be "talking about it." It must integrate many parts of the self to fully heal.
