Work HistoryHello, my name is Shannon and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with seven years experience in psychotherapy and eleven years experience in overall behavioral health. Life is filled with ups and downs, both internally—in our thoughts and emotions—and externally— in circumstances and interpersonal relationships. It can be very difficult to navigate all of these stressors day-to-day, nonetheless do the work to reflect and restore. I believe in the way of “through”, I am an ever bringer of validation and hope, and holding space for your overall wellness. In my practice, I have worked closely with adolescents, adults, older adults, and families and utilize various therapeutic approaches and techniques. My specialities include anxiety, mood disorders, addiction and recovery, emotion regulation, and trauma. I offer a person-centered, strengths-based approach in my practice tailored to each client. I honor and affirm all LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients and I align as a body liberation provider. I would love to support you and empower you on this journey through empathic listening, facilitated reflection, building coping skills, conflict resolution, and motivation to create time and space for your overall wellness. I serve adolescents, adults, and older adult clients, ages 12 and up. All appointments take place via video telehealth.
