Work HistoryMy trauma expertise began shortly after finishing grad school as I entered the nonprofit world to serve clients, starting with foster and adoptive kiddos and their families who were experiencing trauma, where I assessed and treated clients, and offering parental support. After several years I transitioned over to community mental health where I honed my skills serving populations struggling with addiction and trauma. I was able to serve a wide range of clients through those 7 years with a variety of issues, making me a well-rounded clinician. I began to train and supervise other clinicians in their journey towards their own expertise and found that I love mentoring others and offering support, guidance, and skills to professionals who are needing a change or grow professionally. As I served in these positions, I began offering in-person and virtual therapy on the side to clients who fell outside the nonprofit world, to clientele that were in the professional realm, medical fields, business and industry leaders, and the like and fell in love with the drive and motivation of my clients and their resourcefulness. Over the last few years, I have moved solely to private sector, filling my practice with the clients that I love to work with, who are motivated to make the changes needed to change and on with their life, feeling more confident and successful.
