What is your style/approach to therapy?
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel both supported and challenged—a balance of understanding what you're going through while also helping you move toward meaningful change.
I primarily use evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means I help you identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors while also encouraging self-acceptance and psychological flexibility. If you're struggling with OCD or PTSD, I incorporate Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help you face fears and process past experiences in a way that fosters healing.

Training/CertificationsExposure and Response Prevention Therapy for OCD
Education
Widener, Doctorate of Psychology, 2023
Work HistoryFrom early on in my training, I knew I wanted to work with young adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, and major life transitions. During my doctoral program at Widener University, I focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), two approaches that help people change unhelpful thought patterns while also learning to accept emotions and experiences without feeling overwhelmed by them.
As I continued my training, I sought out specialized experience in treating PTSD and OCD. I became trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), which is an evidence-based approach to working through trauma, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), which is the gold standard treatment for OCD. These experiences deepened my understanding of how anxiety and past experiences can shape how we see ourselves and the world, and more importantly, how to help clients break free from those patterns.
